USPS Priority or First Class shipping within U.S. & Canada - Free

USPS International outside the U.S. & Canada - $8.00 Flat Rate

Orders are shipped Monday through Friday, within 24-48 hours of your order.  Your items will be protected throughout shipment as they will arrive in a small 100% recycled cardboard jewelry box within a padded envelope.

Shipping times can be longer during the December holidays.  Customers are advised to order by December 10th to ensure delivery before Christmas.

Customers with orders shipped internationally are responsible for all duties and taxes.

We accept Paypal as well as all major credit cards:  Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

Warranty

Ornamental Things jewelry comes with a one-year replacement warranty and the guarantee that it is tightly assembled.  In the rare instance that your jewelry should break, you may send it back for a free repair or replacement.

Return Policy

If your order does not meet your expectation, you may return it for a full refund within 7 days of receipt.  Please contact us prior to returning an order.  We do not cover the cost of return shipping.  Requirements for returning merchandise:

1. Item must be returned in its original packaging, with tag still in place.

2. Include invoice with a written explanation for return.

3. Ship via registered mail or use delivery confirmation, tracking or insurance.

If we do not receive the package, we will not issue a refund.  Provided the item is received in good condition, a refund will be promptly issued upon receipt.  Please do not return items that have been worn or damaged in your care. 

This return policy applies only to online purchases.

Jewelry Care

1. Keep it dry.  Metal is affected by moisture as well as chemicals in soaps, swimming pools and from sweat.  Take your jewelry off when you swim, bathe, shower or exercise.

2. Store it in a safe place.  We suggest a cloth pouch, box or zip lock bag to prevent tarnish.  If it is something that may tangle easily, we suggest finding a safe place to hang the item.

3. Clean your jewelry occasionally.  Use a jewelry polish cloth or for deeper cleaning, we have published a blog post with instructions for cleaning dull and tarnished brass jewelry.  If you have any questions or concerns with cleaning, contact us.

Privacy Policy

The information that you provide when placing an order is never sold or shared with other companies or parties.  You will not be place on any mailing list unless you specifically sign up for them although we may occassionally notify past customers of new items or sales.  Any information provided to Ornamental Things during an order will be used strictly for completing that order.  Orders are processed through a secure server at Innovative Merchant Solutions so your credit card information is not kept on file at the offices of Ornamental Things.  This website also contains links to other websites.  Please note that when you clkick on one of these links, you are moving to another webiste.  We encourage you to read the privacy statements of these linked sites as their privacy policy may differ from ours.

Wholesale

We can be found at Accessories the Show in New York and Pool Tradeshow in Las Vegas. Wholesale inquiries are welcomed.  Just send us an email and please include some information about your store or website.

Where do you get your materials?

The materials we use in our designs are handpicked and collected by our designer Natalie Tischler from flea markets, warehouses, ebay and many other sources.  Natalie travels frequently for work and pleasure and picks up interesting objects everywhere she goes.

Can you adjust the size?

Yes, we are happy to work with you to make sure the jewelry fits your needs, just send us an email to discuss.

Do you do custom work?

Yes, please feel free to contact us with your requests.  Please be aware that the price for custom work will be higher than our average prices due to the additional time and effort required.  We may also require a deposit before beginning work.
