Natalie Tischler is the designer behind Ornamental Things jewelry. She makes her jewelry from objects that she collects from her travels. Her process includes casting, polishing, riveting, rethinking and reworking the objects into a collection of jewelry that is pretty, vintage-inspired and a little bit steampunk.

Some of Natalie’s inspirations include road trips, antique stores, things that are old and worn, historical buildings, the little details in art and architecture, vintage light fixtures and being in the moment.

Natalie grew up in a small Texas town shopping garage sales, sewing her own clothes and daydreaming her way through school. She studied Art History at The University of Texas. She made jewelry as a hobby for twelve years before starting Ornamental Things in 2004.
