Grownup-style
After a fun, late Saturday night with our friends Sarah and Shea, James and I dragged our hungover selves out of bed and kicked Sunday's ass! First thing, we went to the grocery store and cleaned house. We busted it all out so fast that we had the rest of the day to do whatever we wanted. It was such a nice day! I always make a joke when we act super responsible that we're doing it grownup-style. It just feels so grown up to do something that is going to make your life easier a couple of days later.
And, to add to that, James has been making some killer salads the last two nights. The first one had olives, feta and tomatoes. The second had apples, pecans and goat cheese. I had no idea that good salads could be made at home. I have always failed so miserably at making them. I just thought you had to get them at restaurants.
Grownup-style! High Five! Great success.

I'm glad y'all came over! It was fun!
I love salads--one of my favorite ones to make is chopped up apple, tossed with a bit of onion, feta, and balsamic vinaigrette. With or without any salad greens, but I prefer it without.
