Casting, Charm Bracelets and Fireworks

Here are the pieces that came out in my casting yesterday. All but the ring are my design. The leaves were really fun to make and I look forward to making more. Some of the pieces didn't fully cast but it's all such a great learning experience. They are all sterling silver, some of them look white because they come out looking that way. They don't get all silver-y until you start polishing them.

I am feeling a little obsessed with making charm bracelets lately. I like putting together all the bits of vintage chain, beads and charms that I have collected. I like to recycle everything in my house so naturally it feels very good to me to re-purpose old jewelry. Look for a whole big bunch of charm bracelets to hit the website sometime in August.
